Two Injured in East Houston Fiery Pickup Crash


Houston, Texas (February 16, 2017) – Two people were hospitalized late Wednesday night after they were injured in a fiery pickup truck crash in east Houston.
According to a report, three people were rescued by Good Samaritans a burning pickup truck at about 10 p.m. last night on Liberty at Lockwood.
Reportedly, the driver of the truck lost control causing the vehicle to go off the road. The pickup crashed into a culvert along the railroad tracks before it overturned and landed on its roof.
The vehicle caught fire after the accident.
Witnesses helped lift the pickup and pulled one of the parties out as another person tried to put out the blaze with a fire extinguisher.
The truck driver and one passenger were injured in the accident and were taken to a hospital in unknown condition. The other passenger was not injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
