Fort Worth, Texas (November 17, 2017) – A van driver who was killed Wednesday night in a collision involving two vehicles has been identified as 24-year-old Tyler Blankenship.
The fatal crash happened at around 10 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, at U.S. 287 and Willow Spring Road.
Blankenship was declared dead at the accident scene, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The preliminary report stated that a box a box van was headed north on the highway when it drifted across a grass median and into oncoming traffic and eventually struck by a tractor-trailer head-on.
Police said that no other injuries were sustained in the crash.
