Vance Peek Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Loop 338 at Arroyo Road in Odessa
Odessa, Texas (June 22, 2024) – A 33-year-old man was killed on Friday in a motorcycle accident in Odessa, according to the Odessa Police Department.
The deadly crash happened on June 21, at the intersection of E. Loop 338 and Arroyo Road.
Police said a black 2021 Ford F-150 was facing southbound in the 4500 Block of NE Loop 338 and was attempting to turn eastbound onto Arroyo. A white 2006 Harley Davidson operated by Vance Peek, 33, was traveling northbound in the 4500 block of NE Loop 338.
A beige 2022 GMC Denali was stopped at a stop sign facing westbound at the intersection. The Ford failed to yield the right of way and turned left in front of the Harley Davidson causing the motorcycle to hit the Ford. The Ford then hit the GMC.
Peek was transported to Medical Center Hospital where he later died.
The police are investigating the crash.
