Woman Killed, Another Person Injured in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Gillespie Street
Dallas, TX – A 23-year-old woman is dead and another person is injured after being hit by a vehicle as they walked toward their rideshare ride in Dallas, according to Dallas PD.
The accident happened shortly after 10 p.m. on Thursday, January 16 on Gillespie Street, near Cedar Springs Road and Turtle Creek Boulevard.
According to the police, two people – the 23-year-old woman and another person – were walking toward a parked rideshare vehicle when another driver pulled around the parked car and struck them.
Both pedestrians were transported to the hospital where the 23-year-old woman died. The other patient remains in stable condition.
The driver that struck the victims remained at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
