Woman Killed in Grand Prairie 2-Vehicle Accident on IH-30
Grand Prairie, TX – A woman was killed early Saturday after colliding with another vehicle on Interstate Highway 30 in Grand Prairie, according to the Grand Prairie Police Department.
The deadly collision happened at about 12:30 a.m. on IH-30 near Belt Line Road on Saturday, December 14.
Police say officers received reports of a possible intoxicated driver in a Nissan passenger car, going westbound on TX-30 near Belt Line Road.
As officers from the Grand Prairie Police Department were responding, they received another report that the Nissan had collided with a Ford SUV.
The driver of the Nissan, identified only as a woman, was taken to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Ford SUV was not hurt in the incident.
No additional information was provided. The incident remains under investigation.
