One Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at West Military Drive and Whitewood Street
San Antonio, Texas (May 12, 2019) – A woman was in her late 60’s, or early 70’s was killed in a pedestrian accident Friday night in San Antonio, police said.
The deadly accident happened at about 9:45 p.m. May 10, at the intersection of West Military Drive and Whitewood Street.
Police said the woman was crossing West Military Drive when she was hit by a white Cadillac.
Responding paramedics declared the woman dead at the scene.
The Cadillac driver initially left the scene because he didn’t see the woman and didn’t know that he had hit her. He later returned because he had to drop his family off at home.
Officers said heavy rain might have been a factor in the crash.
The police are conducting the investigation.
