One Critically Injured in Northern Harris County Pedestrian Accident on North Sam Houston Parkway near Greenspoint Drive
Harris County, Texas (September 1, 2018) – A woman was critically injured after being struck by a DUI driver early Friday morning in northern Harris County.
The fatal accident took place at about 12:15 a.m. August 31, on North Sam Houston Parkway near Greenspoint Drive.
Authorities said a woman was crossing the feeder road when she was hit by a pickup truck driven by a woman. The woman was taken to a hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
It’s unknown if the pickup truck driver ran a stop sign. Police took the driver into custody because she was believed to be intoxicated.
An investigation is underway.
