Adam Wailes Killed, 2 Injured in Wichita Falls Crash on Midwestern Parkway at Champions Court

Wichita Falls, Texas (November 8, 2019) – One person was killed and two others, including a pedestrian, were injured early Thursday morning in a traffic accident in Wichita Falls, according to the police.

The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. November 7, in the 1600 block of Midwestern Parkway at Champions Court.

Police said 22-year-old Adam Wailes was driving a truck westbound when he lost control and struck a pedestrian.

The truck then continued sliding sideways and hit a tree.

Wailes was declared dead at the scene.

A passenger in the truck and the pedestrian were taken to United Regional with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators said wet road conditions were a factor in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
