Alberto Cruz Herminia Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on S. Zarzamora Street at West Mayfield Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (October 18, 2020) – The man who was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in San Antonio’s South Side has been identified as 63-year-old Alberto Cruz Herminia, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 8:00 p.m., October 13, at the intersection of S. Zarzamora Street and W. Mayfield Boulevard.

Police said Herminia was running eastbound across South Zarzamora Street when he was struck by a woman who was driving in the outside lane.

Herminia was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The woman stayed at the scene after the accident.

The police are investigating the crash.
