Alma Tatmon Killed in Port Arthur Pedestrian Accident on Memorial Boulevard

Port Arthur, Texas (August 21, 2020) – The woman who was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in Port Arthur has been identified as Alma Tatmon,38, according to police.

The deadly accident occurred just before 10:00 p.m., August 15, in the 8800 block of Memorial Boulevard.

Police said Tatmon, a transient, was crossing the southbound lane, outside a pedestrian-allowed zone, when she was hit by an unknown vehicle. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.

Tatmon was last seen wearing a black shirt with pink and black striped leggings.

The driver fled the scene after the accident. 

The PAPD’s Advanced Accident Team and Criminal Investigations Division are investigating the crash.
