Alton Kimes Fatal 2-Car Accident on Highway 190 near Livingston

40-Year-Old Alton Kimes Dies in Livingston Car Crash on Highway 190

Livingston, Texas (April 30, 2019) – A fiery two-vehicle collision left two people dead near Livingston early Sunday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The wreck happened at around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, April 28, on U.S. Highway 190.
Investigators said 40-year-old Alton Kimes of Livingston was driving a 2015 Dodge pickup truck westbound on Highway 190 when, for unknown reasons, he collided with an eastbound 2003 Cadillac pickup.
The report showed that Kimes was pronounced deceased at the site of the collision. A passenger in the Dodge, identified as 40-year-old Naomi Moody of Livingston, was transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital in Livingston. She was later transferred to Conroe Regional Medical Center. There was no immediate update on the condition of the patient.
The driver of the Cadillac, whose identity was not released, was also pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
