A&M Student Hit, Injured by Police Car on University Drive in College Station

21-Year-Old Texas A&M Student Seriously Injured in College Station Pedestrian Accident on University Drive at Tauber Street

College Station, Texas (April 13, 2022) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a police vehicle early Sunday morning at an intersection in College Station, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened shortly before 2:00 a.m. Sunday, April 10, in the area of University Drive and Tauber Street.

The pedestrian, a 21-year-old Texas A&M student, was walking in the roadway when he was struck by a police vehicle. The police car had the green light at the intersection, but its flashing lights and siren were not on.

The student sustained serious injuries in the crash. His name and current condition were not available.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
