Amanda Vega Killed in Head-On Crash on Fischer Road in San Antonio

Amanda Vega Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Fischer Road 

San Antonio, Texas (March 1, 2021) – Two people were killed, and two others were injured in a head-on collision Saturday afternoon in San Antonio’s Southwest Side, according to police.

The fatal crash happened on February 27, in the 12000 block of Fischer Road.

Police said a car veered into the path of a pickup truck. The pickup attempted to evade the crash, but it ended up colliding head-on with the car.

The occupants of the car, Amanda Vega, 32, and Julissa Bocanegra, 14, were killed in the crash.

The two occupants in the pickup were taken to University Hospital for treatment.

The police are investigating the crash.
