Amanda Wilson Arrested After Spring Car Crash on Cypresswood Drive near Hardy Toll Road

Spring, Texas (April 28, 2021) – A woman has been arrested in connection to the Sunday hit-and-run crash that left several people injured in Spring, according to the deputies.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m., April 25, in the 24300 block of Cypresswood Drive near Hardy Toll Road.

Deputies said Amanda Wilson, 31, was driving when she struck another vehicle and then fled the scene.

The occupants of the other vehicle, including a pregnant woman, sustained injuries in the crash.

Wilson was later arrested and was found to be in possession of marijuana and a handgun. She was charged with failure to stop and render aid and unlawfully carrying a weapon. She was booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Fail to Stop and Render Aid and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. Her bond was set at $2,600.

The crash remains under investigation.
