Amy Adkins Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Broadway in Lubbock

Amy Adkins Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Broadway near Avenue S

Lubbock, Texas (July 8, 2021) – A woman was injured last month in a hit-and-run crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The accident happened around 11:20 p.m., June 24, in the 1800 block of Broadway near Avenue S.

Police said Amy Adkins, 39, was walking westbound on the street when she was struck by a silver SUV.

The SUV stopped and a passenger got out of the car, walked towards Adkins and then got back in the car. The SUV then fled the scene heading westbound.

Adkins was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The Lubbock Police Department is investigating the crash. Anyone with any information about the crash is asked to call the Crime Line at 741-100. Callers can remain anonymous.
