An Nguyen Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on Highway 6/ Alief Codine

Houston, Texas (March 25, 2022) – According to the deputies, one person was killed Thursday morning in a motorcycle crash in Houston.

The deadly crash happened around 10:00 a.m., on March 24, on Highway 6 (Alief Codine).

According to the deputies, witnesses said An Nguyen was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he switched over into the left lane and rear-ended an Acura.

Nguyen then lost control and hit the center median. He entered the northbound lane, where he hit a Dodge Charger’s front end.

Nguyen was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of the Acura and the Dodge were uninjured in the crash and were not intoxicated.

The crash closed both the northbound and the southbound lanes of the highway for several hours. The lanes have since been reopened.

The HCSO’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the crash.
