Anatoly Hansen ID’d as Man Killed in Travis County Car Accident at FM 812 and FM 973

Travis County, Texas (July 18, 2019) – The man who was killed in a crash that left two children injured on Sunday afternoon in Travis County has been identified as Anatoly Hansen, 24, according to the DPS.

The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at FM 812 and FM 973.

DPS said Hansen was driving a Nissan on FM 812 when he traveled off the roadway for unknown reasons. He then overcorrected and drifted into the path of oncoming traffic, colliding with a Ram.

Hansen suffered major injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Two children were transported to Dell Children’s Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

The driver of the Ram declined medical attention.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
