Andrew Benavidez Killed in North Bexar County Two-Vehicle Crash on Blanco Road

Bexar County, Texas (September 10, 2021) – The man who was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in far North Bexar County has been identified as Andrew Joseph Benavidez,32, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The fatal crash happened around 7:30 p.m., September 5, in the 24000 block of Blanco Road.

Deputies said Benavidez was driving a small car when he veered off into oncoming traffic and crashed into a pickup truck.

Benavidez was pronounced dead at the scene. 

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
