Angela Davis Killed in Dallas County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35E near Riverfront Boulevard; De’Adrian King Arrested

Dallas, Texas (June 28, 2020) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night in Dallas County, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened at about 7:15 p.m. on June 27, on Interstate 35E, near Riverfront Boulevard.

Authorities said De’Adrian King was driving northbound in the left lane of the interstate when he lost control, swerved, and hit another car driven by 61-year-old Angela Davis. The impact caused Davis’ car to flip over the barrier of the highway, and it fell 30 feet below to an embankment, where it landed upside down.

Davis was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

King fled the scene but later returned. He was taken into custody and is facing a charge of accident involving death.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
