Anitra Tusie Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 290 in Bastrop County

Anitra Tusie ID’d as Woman Killed in Bastrop County Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 290

Bastrop County, Texas (February 29, 2020) – The woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Bastrop County has been identified as Anitra Tusie, 45, of Dime Box, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash was reported around 7:44 a.m. February 20, on U.S. Highway 290 near McAcres Drive.

DPS said Tusie was driving a 2015 Ford westbound on the highway when she crossed into the eastbound lane and hit a 2019 Toyota Tacoma.

Tusie was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Toyota driver was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
