Anna Huddleston Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 4th Street near Slide Road

Lubbock, Texas (May 23, 2021) – According to the Lubbock Police Department, a woman was killed in a pedestrian accident Friday night in Lubbock.

The deadly accident was reported just after 10:00 p.m., May 21, in the 5200 block of 4th Street near Slide Road.

Police said two pedestrians were attempting to cross the street when the woman was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The woman was taken to University Medical Center, where she later died. She has been identified as Anna Huddleston, 54.

The other pedestrian was not injured in the crash.

The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
