Anthony Lightbourn Killed in El Paso Motorcycle Crash on US 54 near Ellerthorpe

El Paso, Texas (February 15, 2022) – A man was killed Monday morning in a motorcycle crash in Northeast El Paso, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred just after 11:30 a.m., February 14, on US-54 North near Ellerthorpe.

Police said Anthony Lightbourn, 61, was riding a 2014 Honda motorcycle when he crashed into a 2012 Nissan Titan that had broken down in the middle lane.

Lightbourn was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver was uninjured in the crash. They were reportedly on the side of the road, warning other motorists of the breakdown.

The police are investigating the crash.
