Anthony Michael Doan Killed in Tyler Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 69 North and FM 2016

Tyler, Texas (December 3, 2020) – The man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Tyler has been identified as Anthony Michael Doan, 21, of Tyler, according to police.

The fatal crash happened on December 1, on US Highway 69 North and FM 2016.

Police said Doan was driving a Toyota Corolla northbound on US 69 when he lost control and slid sideways. The Corolla was then struck by a southbound Volkswagen Rabbit.

Doan was killed in the crash.

The Volkswagen driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

All southbound traffic on US Hwy 69 was re-routed onto FM 2016 westbound following the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
