Antonio Olvera Killed in New Braunfels Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 725 and West Zipp Road

New Braunfels, Texas (March 15, 2022) – A man was killed Monday afternoon in a rollover crash in New Braunfels, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 3:30 p.m., March 14, at the intersection of FM 725 and West Zipp Road.

Police said a dump truck crashed into the side of a pickup truck, which was towing a trailer.

The impact caused the pickup truck to roll over.

The pickup truck driver, Antonio Garcia Olvera, 84, from New Braunfels, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The dump truck driver, a 62-year-old Seguin man, was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed the roadway for several hours.

The police are investigating the crash.
