April Marie Cameron Killed in Rusk County Two-Vehicle Crash on Texas Highway 64

Rusk County, Texas (November 14, 2019) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Rusk County, near Henderson city, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 3:00 p.m. November 12, on Texas Highway 64.

DPS said Christopher Blake Taliaferro, 32, of Laneville, was driving a 2011 Isuzu flatbed eastbound when he attempted to turn left into a private driveway and was rear-ended by a 2015 Acura TLX driven by April Marie Cameron, 40, of Kilgore.

Cameron was declared dead at the scene.

Taliaferro was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
