Aracelli Villa Killed in Christmas Day Crash on SL 338 in Ector County

Aracelli Villa ID’d as Woman Killed in Ector County Crash on SL 338

Ector County, Texas (December 27, 2022) – The woman who died following a Christmas day traffic crash in Ector County has been identified as Aracelli Villa of Odessa, according to a press release by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash occurred on SL 338 on Sunday, December 25 on SL 338.

As per the DPS report, a Volkswagen was heading northbound on SL 338 when, for unknown reasons, the Volkswagon veered into the southbound lane and continued to drive on the wrong side of the road.

A Kia was traveling southbound on SL 338 and attempted to avoid a crash but was hit by the Volkswagen.

Villa, who was in the Kia, was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

The Kia driver, Felipe Quinones-Baeza, 51, of Odessa, was taken to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.

The Volkswagen driver, Alondra Celesta Perez, 26, of Crane, was uninjured in the crash.

All the involved people were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
