Armando Puentes Identified as Man Killed in San Marcos Motorcycle Crash on Staples Road and SH 123

San Marcos, Texas (March 1, 2019) – A man who was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a garbage truck early Thursday morning in San Marcos has been identified by the authorities.
Armando Puentes, 44, died in the fatal collision that took place at about 2:20 a.m. February 28 near Staples Road and SH 123.
Police said Puentes was riding a black Harley Davidson motorcycle when he collided with a Texas Disposal Systems truck that was blocking lanes as it dumped a large trash dumpster.
Puentes succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
The San Marcos Police are investigating the crash.
