Arturo Vega Killed in Marshall Pedestrian Accident on West Grand Avenue

Marshall, Texas (February 19, 2022) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle Thursday night in Marshall, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred around 6:30 p.m., February 17, on West Grand Avenue.

Police said a pickup truck was heading westbound when it struck Arturo Vega, 71, of Marshall.

The driver called the police and stated that they had struck a pedestrian.

Vega was found lying on the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
