Ashlee Harwood Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 110 in Smith County

Ashlee Harwood ID’d as Woman Killed in Smith County Crash on Highway 110 at Mixon Road

Smith County, Texas (September 23, 2022) – The woman who died following a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday night on a highway in Smith County has been identified as Ashlee Harwood, 38, of Troup.

The crash occurred on State Highway 110 at Mixon Road near Whitehouse on Wednesday, September 21.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Harwood was driving a 2004 Jaguar northbound on Mixon Road when she failed to stop for a stop sign and was hit by a 2020 Ford F-150.

Harwood was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three people in the Ford, including a 1-year-old infant, were taken to an area hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

No other details were provided. The police are investigating the crash.
