Ashley Altum ID’d as Second Victim Killed in Clay County Crash at FM 174 and Brock Road

Clay County, Texas (August 17, 2022) – Authorities have identified the second victim who died following a head-on crash Monday afternoon in Clay County as Ashley Michele Altum, 36, of Graham.

The tragic wreck occurred at about 1:15 p.m. Monday, August 15 in the area of FM 174 and Brock Road.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Honda collided head-on with a Jeep.

Altum and Kerry Allen Hodges, 43, of Henrietta were pronounced dead at the scene.

Kerry’s wife Shelli Hodges, who was in the vehicle was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with serious injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
