Ashley Brook Lester Killed in Paris Two-Vehicle Crash on SW Loop 286

Paris, Texas (October 11, 2019) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Paris, according to a local news release.

The fatal crash took place around 6:40 a.m. October 10, in the 2300 block of SW Loop 286.

Police said a semi-tractor trailer stopped at the railroad crossing when Ashley Brook Lester, 25, failed to stop and crashed into the trailer.

Lester was taken to Paris Regional Medical Center where she later died.

The driver of the semi was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
