At Least 1 Airlifted after Postal Truck, 18-Wheeler Collide on Highway 36 in Sealy

At Least One Person Injured in Sealy Crash on Highway 36 near Mixville Road

Sealy, Texas (July 14, 2022) – At least one person was flown to a hospital after a collision between a postal truck and an 18-wheeler Wednesday in Sealy, according to authorities.

The crash took place on Highway 36 near Mixville Road on July 13.

Authorities said at least one patient was airlifted to the hospital in unknown condition.

Both lanes of Highway 36 between Mixville Road and Wallis were temporarily blocked following the wreck. Motorists were asked to seek an alternate route.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
