At Least 1 Dead in Plane Crash in Houston

At Least 1 Killed in Houston Plane Crash Thursday evening
Houston, Texas (February 1, 2019) – At least one person was killed Thursday evening when a small airplane went down near a Houston-area residential development, according to a local news source.
The fatal accident occurred at around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, January 31 in a wooded area approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) west of Houston.
Authorities said a four-seat Mooney M20TN single-engine aircraft was flying from El Paso International Airport to West Houston Airport when it crashed.
According to the authorities, the plane may have clipped a power line and went down.
At least one person was declared dead at the scene. The name of the deceased victim has not been released pending identification and notification of relatives.
The crash remains under investigation.
