At Least 1 Injured in Rear-End Crash on I-45 in Montgomery County

At Least One Injured in Montgomery County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45 near FM 1488

Montgomery County, Texas (May 3, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured in a rear-end collision Sunday evening in Montgomery County, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just before 5:00 p.m., May 2, on I-45 near FM 1488.

According to the report, a pickup truck was traveling southbound in the HOV lane when it became disabled and was rear-ended by another southbound pickup truck that was traveling close to 70 mph.

At least one person was seriously injured in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
