At Least One Killed in Tyler Crash at County 48 and Highway 110 North

Tyler, Texas (July 22, 2022) – A two-vehicle accident has claimed the life of at least one person early Friday morning at an intersection in Tyler, Smith County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash took place at the intersection of County 48 and Highway 110 North.

DPS said the crash involved two vehicles.

At least one person died in the crash.

The intersection was blocked following the wreck. Drivers were being asked to seek alternate routes.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
