At Least One Killed in El Paso Three-Vehicle Crash on Spur 601 

El Paso, Texas (September 18, 2021) – At least one person was killed Saturday morning in a three-vehicle crash in east El Paso, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 7:00 a.m., on Spur 601 westbound near exit 21.

Police said three cars were involved in the collision.

At least one person was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The crash closed westbound Spur 601 between the Chafee on-ramp and Sgt Major on-ramp. Traffic was diverted to Global Reach or Airport. Motorists were urged to avoid the area.

The crash remains under investigation.
