Aundrea Simms Killed in Limestone County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 164 near Groesbeck

Limestone County, Texas (January 20, 2020) – One person was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Limestone County, east of Groesbeck, according to the DPS.

The crash took place at about 5:40 a.m. January 16, on State Highway 164.

DPS said a Chevrolet pickup truck had been heading eastbound on the highway when it hit a cow. The truck became disabled in the middle of the roadway.

Aundrea Simms, 37, of Madisonville, was driving a Dodge SUV westbound when he swerved and crashed head-on into the Chevrolet.

Simms was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
