36-Year-Old Man Killed in Jefferson County Dirt Bike Crash on River Bend Road near Highway 105
Jefferson County, Texas (May 28, 2019) – A 36-year-old Beaumont man was killed Monday night in a dirt bike crash in Jefferson County, according to the DPS.
The deadly accident happened around 8:45 p.m. May 28, on River Bend Road near Highway 105.
DPS said the man was driving a Honda dirt bike southbound on River Bend Road when a Chevrolet vehicle, driven by a 61-year-old man crashed head-on into the dirt bike.
The force of the impact ejected the dirt bike driver. He was not wearing a helmet.
The dirt bike driver was killed in the crash. His name has not been disclosed.
An investigation is ongoing.
