Bicyclist Critically Injured in Crash near Arbor Circle and South 1st Street in Austin

One Critically Injured in South Austin Bicycle Accident near Arbor Circle and South 1st Street

Austin, Texas (March 26, 2023) – A bicyclist was critically injured Friday night in a crash in south Austin, according to officials.

The accident was reported around 11:46 p.m., March 24, near the intersection of Arbor Circle and South 1st Street.

Officials said a bicyclist was critically injured after being hit by a car near the intersection.

The bicyclist was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
