Rider Injured in San Antonio Bicycle Crash on East Houston and North Presa Streets

San Antonio, Texas (August 8, 2019) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver early Wednesday morning in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash took place just after midnight on Wednesday, August 6, on East Houston and North Presa streets.

Police said a man in his 20s was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk when a silver sedan jumped the curb and crashed into him.

The rider was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of the sedan fled the scene after the incident.

The San Antonio Police Department is searching for the hit-and-run driver.
