One Injured in Lubbock Bicycle Accident on Avenue Q at Sudsy’s Car Wash

Lubbock, Texas (June 30, 2020) – A bicyclist was injured on Saturday in a hit-and-run crash in Lubbock, according to police.

The accident happened on June 27, in the 3600 block of Avenue Q at Sudsy’s Car Wash.

Police said the bicyclist was turning northbound out of Sudsy’s Car Wash when he was struck by a car.

The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
