Rider Dies in San Antonio Bicycle Crash on Highway 151 near 36th Street

San Antonio, Texas (August 8, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a traffic collision on Wednesday night in San Antonio, according to a police report.

The collision occurred at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, on Highway 151 near 36th Street.

Police said a man in his early 20s or 30s was riding a bike on Highway 151 when a car struck him.

The rider died of injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of the car remained at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
