Bicyclist Killed in Crash on West Little York in NW Houston

Man Killed in NW Houston Bicycle Accident on West Little York near T.C. Jester

Houston, Texas (November 30, 2021) – A man was killed in a bicycle accident early Monday morning in northwest Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 2:20 a.m., November 29, on West Little York near T.C. Jester.

Police said the man was riding his bicycle westbound in the far-right lane with lights when he was struck by a speeding pickup truck.

The truck then left the roadway, hit a brick wall and a utility pole before coming to a stop on its side.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The truck driver and his female passenger were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Both of them appeared to have been intoxicated. If confirmed, the driver could face intoxicated manslaughter charges.

The police are investigating the crash.
