Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 6 in NW Harris County

One Killed in NW Harris County Bicycle Accident on Highway 6 at Forest Trails Drive

Harris County, Texas (February 7, 2021) – A bicyclist was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash in NW Harris County, according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m., February 6, in the 8100 block of Highway 6 North at Forest Trails Drive.

Authorities said the bicyclist was crossing the highway on a red light when they were struck by a northbound car.

The car fled the scene after the accident.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The car driver is facing a charge of failure to stop and render aid if found.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
