Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Howell Sugar Land Road in Harris County

One Killed in West Harris County Bicycle Accident on Howell Sugar Land Road

Harris County, Texas (August 28, 2020) – A bicyclist was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run crash in west Harris County, according to deputies.

The deadly accident happened at about 11:53 p.m., August 27, in the 6400 block of Howell Sugar Land Road.

Deputies said a bicyclist was rear-ended by a vehicle which then fled the scene.

The bicyclist was killed in the crash.

The deputies are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the crash or the suspect is asked to call their local police department.
