Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels

55-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in New Braunfels Bicycle Accident on Interstate 35
New Braunfels, Texas (February 27, 2019) – A 55-year-old man was seriously injured Wednesday morning in a bicycle accident in New Braunfels, according to the police.
The accident happened at about 5:00 a.m. in the 3200 block of Interstate 35 on the southbound frontage road.
Police said the driver of a Chevy Cruze was exiting the freeway when he rear-ended the bicyclist on the frontage road near a Pilot truck stop.
The bicyclist was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The car driver, a 21-year-old man, was uninjured in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
