Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on West Bow Street in Tyler

One Seriously Injured in Tyler Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash on West Bow Street

Tyler, Texas (August 8, 2020) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday night in Tyler, a local news source reported.

The accident occurred around 9:14 p.m., August 7, in the 1300 block of West Bow Street.

Police said the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on the street.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The bicyclist was taken to Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler in serious condition.

No other information was available.

The Tyler Police Department is investigating the crash.
