Cyclist Hospitalized after Abilene Bicycle Accident on South 1st Street near Stonewalls Pizza
Abilene, Texas (July 20, 2022) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a pickup truck Tuesday night in Abilene, according to authorities.
The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, in the 2800 block of South 1st Street, near Stonewalls Pizza.
Authorities said the pickup truck was traveling on South 1st Street when, for an unknown reason, it struck the bicyclist.
The bicycle rider, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
