Bicyclist Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Boyd Road in Azle

Man Killed in Azle Bicycle Accident on Boyd Road (FM 730) near Azle High School

Azle, Texas (February 4, 2020) – A man was killed in a bicycle accident Sunday night in Azle, according to a local news source.

The accident took place around 9:50 p.m. February 2, in the 1300 block of Boyd Road (FM 730) near Azle High School.

According to the report, the bicyclist was traveling on the highway when he was hit by a vehicle.

Responding emergency crews performed CPR on the victim, who was then taken to THR Azle, where he later died.

According to a witness, the driver of the vehicle stopped and rendered aid to the victim.

The crash remains under investigation.
