66-Year-Old Billy Poe Killed in Richmond Motorcycle Accident on Pitts Road

Richmond, Texas (January 28, 2020) – A man was killed Saturday morning in a motorcycle accident in Richmond, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:45 a.m., January 25, on Pitts Road.

DPS said Michelle Antonio Keith, 51, of Richmond, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe northwest on Pitts Road when he crossed over into the southbound lane and crashed head-on into a 2008 Harley Davidson Motorcycle ridden by Billy Poe, 66, of Richmond.

Poe was taken to Oak Bend Hospital where he later died.

Keith was arrested for intoxication manslaughter and is being held at the Fort Bend County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

The crash remains under investigation.
